Kardex expands its service operation to match growing customer demand for legislative compliance with LOLER (lifting operations and lifting equipment regulations)
As a valued KARDEX customer or someone who may be thinking of investing in KARDEX equipment, we thought you would be interested in learning more about our service department’s organisational changes as we feel these will enable us to offer an improved level of service to you.
The dynamic storage systems which you bought or may be thinking of buying from us are of course extremely reliable, but like all capital equipment which uses sophisticated moving parts, it needs to have a regular and planned preventative maintenance schedule in place, as advised in the guide to LOLER regulations (www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg290.pdf )
We have recently recruited additional service and support engineers to reflect the high levels of interest we have across our customer base. Many of our customers and prospective customers realise they either have no PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE service contract in place or that the existing contract no longer reflects the way they do business and that they now need a different type of contract, to cover a 2 or 3 shift system for 5 to 7 days a week.
We have highlighted reasons why you should take out a Preventative Maintenance Agreement with Kardex, by taking extracts from the most frequently asked questions posed by our customer base.
