The concept of mobile shelving is increasingly popular for the less active and archival filing requirements. The Kardex range includes 3 different methods of operation, hand, gearwheel or electric. The shelving bays are placed on mobile carriages which are then moved along rails enabling users to create access aisles as and when required, as opposed to having a series of fixed shelving bays with permanent access aisles taking up large amounts of floor space.
