Efficient Storage for High Density Requirements

The Kardex Shuttle NT is the ideal storage system for room heights from 4 to 25 meters. The tower principle ensures that the access time is kept to a bare minimum. The drive is frequency-controlled and the lift speed can be perfectly adjusted to suit the stored goods. Depending on the type, the speed amounts to up to 3 meters per second. Light barriers in the access opening guarantee maximum safety for users.

Better Protection - The contents of the Shuttle NT are protected against dust and unauthorized access. It can be easily connected to an alarm system (e.g. using motion sensors). Upon request we will supply the Kardex Shuttle with a KFPS fire extinguisher system.

Automation/Software - The Kardex Shuttle is easy to use: the files are delivered to the user at the press of a button. The Shuttle can be connected to a PC control at the press of a button.

Increased Picking Speed - The Shuttle presents stock to the operator rather than the other way round. The correct tray will be brought by the extractor to the access level. Software will tell the operator how many items to pick. The Shuttle will also sort stock into an optimum picking sequence minimizing machine travel time. Anticipated improvements in picking speeds are four-fold.
