Customer Service & Support

Our Customer Engineering Division (CED) is key to the success of all other Kardex operations. CED is the specialist division which delivers, installs, commissions, services and repairs all of the Kardex hardware and equipment as a result of sales from the various Divisions.

Nationwide coverage in the UK, Kardex directly employs over 50 fully trained and qualified engineers who are based in the 5 regional sales and service centres around the country. The focus of each engineer is clearly targeted at providing 100% customer satisfaction - be that during the physical installation and commissioning of new hardware or providing on-site preventative maintenance to an existing customer.

We recognise that when any customer buys from Kardex, he has made a considerable investment with the company. The Kardex CED is there to protect that investment and ensure that we do everything possible to give you years of trouble-free and safe day to day working.

Kardex is on call 24 hours a day, every day of the year with a capability to respond to any emergency call no matter where in the UK.

Kardex Service and Software Support

Recognising that each customer is different and has specific and often unique needs, Kardex has tailored a suite of both software and mechanical service contracts for all applications.

The Kardex range of service options range from: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, to a full all year round 24/7/365 contract and a host of different options in between. All Kardex vertical carousels and lift systems are covered by an unparalleled 12 year performance warranty. All we ask of you to comply, is that the equipment concerned is covered by a continuous and unbroken comprehensive service contract and that any move of the equipment is carried out by Kardex accredited and fully trained engineers.

Flexibility

We are almost certain that we would have a standard service contract to best suit your application and usage pattern. However should this not be the case and you need a contract which falls outside of these parameters, then the Flexi-plan is for you. Under the Flexi-plan we work with you and design a schedule to best meet your performance and attendance criteria. Once agreed we will endeavour to commit to those schedules. Whilst we believe that this degree of flexibility is unique to Kardex, we feel that the ability to offer such a contract simply goes to reflect how important your installation is to us. This flexibility demonstrates the fact that we regard all of our business relationships with customers as " partnerships" which when entered into in the correct spirit will add value to all concerned.

Put the law on your side

The whole of UK industry has been affected by recent Health and Safety Commission legislation which goes some way to ensuring that all lifting and general work equipment is maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair. There are under both PUWER and LOLER 1998 regulations which stipulate how best to ensure that these guidelines are observed and the recommended periods of machinery inspections and the competence of those carrying out such inspections.
